Update!

Dear Triple S Dance Competition Studios and Families,

We are writing to provide an update about the quickly evolving coronavirus situation and its effects on Triple S Dance Competition. Our priority remains to keep studios, families, and communities as safe as possible.

As you all know, there are growing concerns around coronavirus (COVID-19). Triple S Dance Competition is relying on fact based information and we are closely following the (CDC) Center for Disease Control and Prevention and (WHO) World Health Organization for updates, guidance, best practices and recommendations.

At the present time, Triple S Dance Competition is still intending to hold ALL of our scheduled events. In the event that circumstances change beyond our control, we will work swiftly and diligently to notify you of any changes immediately.

We have implemented rigorous guidelines and expectations for all Triple S staff as well as staff at all venues on how to protect against transmission of the virus. Guidelines include hand washing protocols, thorough cleaning of high traffic and touched areas, covering coughs and sneezes. In addition, assuring you that all common areas meet these complete expectations as well. Venue coordinators are working with us to ensure all of the best and safest precautions are followed.

In addition, we are kindly limiting the attendance for our events with suggestions from health officials. We ask that only studio owners, instructors and parents/guardians of dancers attend. In an effort to reduce the number of attendees, we strongly encourage viewing of our competition through our livestreaming as this will be happening at each event. We are adding more cameras and features to enhance the experience from home and it’s all free of charge.

We are also implementing additional precautionary measures during our competition.

During our awards, we will still announce dances and their placements. However, we may modify our awards ceremony as needed for each event.

Dressing rooms will solely be used for intended purposes only and we ask that dancers flow in and out of the dressing rooms as efficient as possible.

Schedules may need to be modified as to accommodate the flow of the competition and awards.

Triple S staff members are expected to stay home if they are feeling ill. We also encourage your staff and families to follow the same protocol.

If anyone has traveled abroad or been on a cruise in the last two weeks, we kindly ask that you please stay home.

Once again, Triple S Dance Competition will continue to hold all of our events and will be in communication with you regarding any updates.

Sincerely,

Triple S Dance Competition
